How often should my child visit the dentist?

We recommend that your child visit us once every six months for a routine checkup and hygiene cleaning. Depending on your child’s oral care needs, your dentist may recommend more visits throughout the year.

What will happen during a hygiene appointment?

During your child’s appointment, our team will provide a variety of preventive dental services including teeth cleaning and education.

Your child's hygiene appointment could include:

• Cleaning your child's teeth to remove any build-up or plaque.
• Treating his or her teeth with fluoride strengthens them and makes them more resistant to tooth decay.
• Educate your child about prevention, including the essentials for home dental care, such as brushing and flossing techniques.
