Invisalign® is a clear alternative to wearing metal braces when it comes to aligning teeth. Our dentists at Parkland Dental Centre offer Invisalign® for teen and adult patients living in the Halifax area.
What is Invisalign®?
This convenient approach to straightening out your teeth uses a series of clear trays (also known as aligners) instead of traditional metal braces.
Choosing Invisalign® is a clear option since you can talk and smile with the trays, and people will likely not even know you're wearing them.
How do Invisalign® aligners straighten my smile?
The aligners are custom-made to fit your smile and are specifically designed to move your teeth in an organized sequence.
Each aligner set is worn 23 hours per day for about 2 weeks. After your teeth have reached the next position, your dentist will change your aligners to continue the process.
We recommend that you wear the trays at all times, except for when you are eating, drinking and maintaining your oral hygiene.
How long does Invisalign® take?
Treatment duration depends on the complexity of each individual case. Some patients complete their treatment within 8 months.
How much does Invisalign® cost?
Cost depends on the complexity and duration of your treatment.
